Olinha - Co-President
Hi, my name is Olinha, and I’m the co-president for PNS this year! I’m currently a 3rd year majoring in Public Health. Over the summer, I finished a CNA program which allowed me to gain knowledge in bedside nursing and direct patient interaction. This experience grew my passion for nursing as I developed close bonds with patients and other healthcare workers. My goal after graduating Berkeley is to obtain a master’s in nursing and become a NICU or L&D nurse! In my free time, I like to go to the RSF, get boba, and eat noodles!

Ashley - Vice President
Hello! My name is Ashley, and I am the Vice President of PNS for 2023-24. I am a senior at Cal majoring in Nutrition and planning to apply to master’s entry nursing programs this year. After earning my CNA license, shadowing nurses in various specialties, and spending time in the homes of elderly patients as a home health aide, I have embraced the joys and accepted the difficulties of a career in nursing. My goal is to combine the in-depth and exciting education I’ve received in nutrition, metabolic processes, and physiology with a career in nursing to educate and help underserved populations. In my personal time, I love to cook, thrift, explore different restaurants and cafes, and go to the beach or the Berkeley Marina. This is a photo of me in Panama City on a spring break trip to bring water filters to rural communities. It was mango season

Fiona - Publicity Chair
My name is Fiona and I am the publicity chair for PNS for the 2023-2024 school year. I am currently a third year studying Psychology and Classics. After earning my bachelor's degree, I plan on entering an MSN program with a focus in women's health services and a legal perspective. I spent my past few summers volunteering in the Emergency Room of a local hospital and I have grown to love the problem solving aspect and the interactive relationships created in this field. As a proud advocate of feminism, I hope to integrate legal aspects into the nursing field in order to instill better equity, comfort and care for marginalized groups and individuals. On the other hand, I like to spend my time traveling, reading, watching movies, scrapbooking or finding new creative outlets as a temporary hyperfixation.
